To get my source files, sign up at: http://bit.ly/source-files-168<br /><br />In this episode I will show you how I shot a photo, straight into the sun, of a beautiful woman with her daughter in a lifestyle-type photo. <br /><br />The key here is to try to do it with just classic gear, I had a 100mm lens with the Sony a7r and no flash. I did not expect to shoot this type of photo at this time and had to improvise.<br /><br />The rules are:<br /><br />1. Try to expose for the highlights to get that sunset feeling but just enough so that you can still have some skin detail.<br /><br />2. Do not make a too small shallow depth of field as it is hard to focus in this situation. <br /><br />3. Try to compose with the light so that the sun is positioned in a nice place with the subjects.<br /><br />4.
